Interview: Annie
After getting dissed by Annie far too many times to mention - she blew off our first interview in Norway when I was there in August, cancelled a phoner back in Sydney, twice - the editor at 3D World gave me a stapled wad of A4 dodgy Q&A action with the pop star.
It’s in 3D this week. She even got a pull-out poster. Annie’s touring mid-Jan to Australia, doing a DJ set on Saturday January 14 at the Basement.

the only song i like is the wedding song, which is quite good

i don’t know really. she’s pretty average live. on record she’s lifted by some pretty cool production, but her songs are mostly weak.
i think she’s just got good taste in music and friends with lots of people making good music.
i wanted to meet her and find out more, but my advances on the 27 or 28 year old singer, i didn’t seem to work out which age, were thoroughly rebutted.
