Weekend Lunch with Kid 606 + Drop the Lime

While Anna Burns was cruising around Sydney harbour on Saturday I covered her 12-3pm slot on FBI. It was great fun, though having been out until all hours at the Skream gig the night before I was somewhat worse for wear.

Eli and some other guy Zerodub played a gorgeous set of bass heavy dubstep, then Skream stepped up and played a much more party set than I expected. Basically grime and dubstep, but at times you got that cheesy but put yer hands up vibe of soca or, you know, party music. It was good, really good. The MC sucked, the sound system ruled.

Anyway, back to Saturday. Kid 606 and Drop the Lime dropped in for a chat between a raucous set at Stonefest in Canberra and a gig that night at Home. Here is the full rundown of that Saturday afternoon soundtrack.
