Lifted needle

What is a stylus if it’s not touching the record, etc. Stylusmagazine.com’s shut down. I’m still not entirely sure why, but it’s a real loss.

    It’s an absolute disgrace. I can’t think of another music website that was simultaneously so insightful, so wide-ranging and so funny. I’ve learned so much from Stylus.

    When I was writing for the site it was a pretty full-on exercise, and most of the people writing were juggling writing with serious careers, maybe it just got too much. I’m interested to hear the full story though.
