sure the individual records were released in 2005, but they didn’t get a non-vinyl release, they’re now deleted, and the local version, Vista Point, was released mid-dec - that counts, right?
Small changes for a greener city (City News) "Sydney could save $185 million in energy costs over five years by adding green roofs to city buildings. And it can be done with simple changes to planning guidelines, according to a report prepared for the City of Sydney Council."
The Long View (Metropolis) "By embracing the city’s industrial past—reclaiming landfills, remediating brownfields, developing neglected waterfronts—James Corner has helped reinvent the field of landscape architecture."
grimetapes.com "we are extravagant in the bashment." Thanks to The Wire. Essential listening.
Postal trivia (Darlinghurst Nights) "To anyone who has ever wondered what those green boxes are that are frequently, but not always located adjacent to red post boxes…"
Post no bills (Darlinghurst Nights) "They’re pasted over and over and over each other. Posters for club nights, motivational speakers and politicians, and other things. And like many other cities, Sydney council’s been battling them for years."
Now the council’s banned pole posters, threatening a $1500 fine per poster (they’ve also banned the guys who clean your windows while you’re waiting at the lights).

Listening to this stuff now, Matt - it’s fantastic!
Though can it be counted as a 2007 release? Either way, thanks for pointing it out.

I didn’t want to get technical about it! :P
Considering it took them 19 years to put down tracks, and that nothing else really sounds like this, the date matters little.
Great stuff though. Some parts even sound like really, really, slowed down psychobilly, amongst the other sounds you hear in there.
